This Amarone was born in a wooden vat,
AMARONE RISERVA DECENNIUM-DECEM
Decem is born in a wooden vat, spends his childhood in an amphora, becomes a teenager in a small barrel, while as an adult you find it in a bottle. The flagship of my winery is the DECEM, which is the perfect union between the amphora and the wood, a meeting between two different styles of refinement, expertly united after years of careful experimentation.
Decem means “ten” in Latin, like the years of aging that this great Amarone receives before being bottled.
A long and meticulous work that gives life to a unique Amarone, characterised by intense aromas, a harmonious but strong and sharp body, a wine that is persistent, elegant and never banal like just great Amarones can be.
The art
Produced in the most important vintages.
Vineyards grown and taken care of personally, following my techniques and respecting Nature as much as possible. Natural drying without conditioners to increase the breadth and uniqueness of the wine. Vinified in wooden vats with hand punching down. Pressed with an old manual press. Aged in amphora and then in barrels for a total of about ten years.
Bottled with great respect and aged for about a year in the bottle.
Put on the market at least 10 years after the harvest.
