I was born in Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, but I grew up in Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo, in the northern part of a rich and prestigious wine production area. My professional history in soccer teams also started from Valpolicella. Negrar, S. Zeno in Verona,Hellas Verona<\/strong>, 10 years in Roma team and then Valencia, London and China; I came back home in 2009. <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Since 2009, St. Anna di Alfaedo is my team and Fumane, S. Micheletto, is our home. In 2001, in fact, we moved to the estate of San Micheletto in Fumane.<\/strong>. A small hill characterized by a church of XI sec. dedicated to St. Micheletto. Here I decided to start my own wine production in a small vineyard; I entrusted the production to the skilled hands of Pietro Zardini.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n[vc_custom_heading text=”Amarone “Anima Candida“ and Ripasso “17“” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”]\r\n\t

Together with Pietro Zardini we created two wines, Ripasso \u201c17\u201d<\/strong>andAmarone \u201cAnima Candida\u201d<\/strong>, to celebrate both my football career and wine, the pride of this territory. Playing in Roma football team, Carlo Zampa, the speaker of the Olympic Stadium, called me \u201cAnima Candida\u201d, that means \u201cPure Soul\u201d, and 17 has been my shirt number for many years.<\/em> So I decided to give these two evocative names to my wines, combining my personal history with the great wine tradition of S. Micheletto and Valpolicella.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
